The Cyprus economy is very prosperous as it’s classified one of the most advanced economies of the world. Cyprus is currently a member of the Euro zone and it has adopted the euro.

The country has an open, services-based economy with some light manufacturing and minimal agriculture. The entry to the European Union has been an important key to the recent economic development as Cypriots are considered among the most prosperous people in Europe.
